- Transcription is when mRNA copies part of the DNA strand that it is to transmit. Translation is when the tRNA decodes and creates the amino acid chain.
- Messenger RNA transmits the instructions for proteins synthesis. Transfer RNA tells the ribosomes what amino acids to use in the protein chain.

- Genotype is the specific gene code while phenotype is the physical appearance the genotype portrays. Long hair is a phenotype while Hh is a genotype.
- Homozygous is when there are two of the same type of letters and heterozygous is when there are different types of letters together. And example of heterozygous is Tt and an example of homozygous is TT or tt.
